the lost art

hello! my name is Noelle and I have just entered adulthood, and i desperately wish to enter womanhood! i have always been a rather odd girl/teenager who studies a lot, trips a lot, and always seems to feel out of place. i spent most of my life being jealous of "glamorous girls" with flashy cloths, show a lot of skin, and are always at the parties. since then, i met a boy who has always felt the same way. day by day i am watching him, cautiously and slowly, become a man. he is actually becoming a REAL man, who is both strong and gently and not just acts macho. through him, i am starting to understand what my mother always told me. i never want to be like those "showy" girls because they are fake and have to live in fake lives. i want to be real and live a real life! what i want more than anything is to be the beautiful woman who silently comes into a room, but every one notices and smiles at. i want to be the woman who gracefully and confidently enters any situation or group of people. i want to be successful. i want to be happy. i want to be a beautiful and elegant woman! the art of elegance has lost it's popularity, but with the help of my family, my boyfriend, and my friends here, i think we can all find it together!
