Thank you for such a rare gem

Dear Eunice Tan,

I would just like to congratulate you on such a wonderful, tender and of course elegant site. Your words of wisdom are filled with grace and wit and I am so delighted that I stumbled upon your site. It is truly a rare gem.

Lately, I could feel the Lord, our Savior Jesus Christ, lead me towards a more demure, refined and sophisticated way of life as He is by far, the most elegant of all ;)

But He had to teach me that the first step towards elegance starts on the inside, so when I read your post quoting that very verse (Matthew 23:26), I knew for sure it was God who sent me to your site.

Living in Paris, I see material elegance all around me but there is a lack in the area of gracefulness, good manners and pleasant etiquette. So two weeks ago, in the midst of yet another Parisian strike, I went to London and it was so lovely and refreshing to be surrounded by authentic politeness and an orderly way of life. When I came back to Paris, I searched sites on etiquette and even ordered a few books from amazon; but it's as though something was still missing. I needed a lifestyle change and advice to embody the elegant way of life, not just at the surface but from the inside out. This is why your site is such a dream come true:)!
I just had to share this beautiful highlight of my journey to elegance with you. I know there is still a long way to go but I hang on to the Lord's promise in Philippians 1:6: "For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus."- Indeed, the good work He began in me, shall be perfected in His time.
