Prodigal Southern BelleMy mother and grandmother always displayed good taste and elegance. They were refined and kind and seldom allowed others to cause strong reactions in public. I don't think I am 'terrible' per se, but I would like to improve some qualities about myself and have elegance flow from me more fluidly. I like how you made the distinction between elegance and snobbery. I want to be elegant, but not snobbish or any other semi-refined quality/personality/etc that breeds unkindness and ego. I shall never be quite demure, but I want to be my best. Thank you so much for this site and sharing your ideas. |
