Inspiration to become the elegant woman I want to be

My elegant aspirations may seem silly but here it goes:


to stop procrastrinating and get on with becoming the respectable, elegant lady i absolutly want to become. to stop putting on a act for certain people and be able to be consistant. I have actualy stuck with this for at least a week and can honestly say i felt wonderful, confident, not as self conscious as i normally am. Also to give me the self respect and love i deserve.

However i do tend to slowly slip back to my old self (which is not bad at al) but i know i can become who i want to. Also i aspire to stop letting people, places, music, relationships affect my mood.

I am 33, very mature and just looking for insipration. Any tips? Would be amazing if you replied, Keep up the fantastic work. you are a role model, and obviously are the person you really want to be. xxx

Good. When someone else holds you happiness, then you have completely let them predict your mood, life and selfworth. Its important as an elegant woman to withdraw from this type of behaviour as it only creates a lower self esteem. You'll never feel worthy, satisfied with anything you accomplish or aspire to do unless they approved of it.

Hi there. I too am on a journey to discover the classic beauty hiding within. It's interesting for me because I easily slip back into old ways too :( but when I really put worth an effort I get constant compliments, I mean constant. I spent an extra 10 minutes getting ready on Friday and I had at least 7 different compliments that day. I'm 33, single, travel constantly, and am ready for something different, better. In the last few years I've had to focus on health issues, spiritual growth, finances, charity work, and supporting family and friends. Now it's time to focus on me. I started with throwing out all my old clothes (want to review my closet one more time), 2) changing my hair to a more ladylike style, 3) purchasing new makeup, 4) organizing my all my accesseries (jewelry, purses, belts, scarfs) so I can see them and 5) canceling my cable subscription so I have time. Now I'm working on building a basic wardrobe (which is how I found this site). Up next is shoes (recycle and replace) and identifying some rules to live by every morning. I hope to learn a lot from this site-already have. Thank you.
