Inconsiderate Smoking & Rude Behaviour During Means

I was out this a.m. with a friend going to garage sales, he brought along his girlfriend and a friend of theirs.

After 2 hours the girls insisted they eat breakfast immediately. My friend Jerry pulled into a restaurant, they asked if I would have breakfast with them. It was in their end of town so I was unfamiliar with area and cafes. We sat down in an open courtyard and the two woman lit up cigarettes. I realized the entire courtyard was a smokefilled restaurant.

I have made it clear before to these people I don't smoke and get migranes from cigaratte smoke. No one mentioned to me that this was a smoking restaurant. Then both "ladies" took out their Iphones to facebook and check news.

They continued on their phones most of the breakfast unless I engaged them in current news and legislation in our region. I didn't mention my feelings at all over the entire breakfast. My friend Jerry read his newspaper, he doesn't smoke, but this whole cig. smoke doesn't seem to bother him.

should I mention this to Jerry or just never put myself in this situation with these mean "girls" all over the age of 50 !
