Hi Paulette,

Some gift suggestions:

Baby clothes, blankets, towels etc will always come in handy as your friends and their newborn can always use these things.

For more personal items you could get some engraving done on a silver bracelet, a pendant, anklet etc. Some suggest a baby spoon, or a rattle even.

I suppose these will be of "heirloom" material that will be kept and mark the wonderful occasion.

Other alternatives would to be to give a beautiful scrapbook or picture book, with at least a few pictures of your new God-child, where you could write a lovely message or prayer on it.
