Apparently classy doesnt mean classy anymore..

Carrie Prejean, who stood up for her beliefs
Natalie, Halle, Kate W, JESSICA ALBA?! Who next, Megan Fox and Marilyn Monroe? almost all the women mentioned in list and comments is not classy. At All. I have to seriously wonder if the majority of you even know what classy means, because it strongly appears that you're just naming your favorite actors or people you think are pretty. Sorry, those arent classy. I truly hate how aboslutely anyone can be called "classy" anymore (unless the media STRONGLY tells you not to about someone, like the Kardashians, who are very hated). basically to be called classy now, all you need to do is look fancy. that's all. oh, and classy also means something like "hasnt made a porn tape" and "hasnt murdered anyone" and the obvious like. so ANYONE can be (incorrectly) called classy, even if they talk like sailors or like punching random strangers or lie all the time. how sad.
apparently you've never heard Natalie speak, if you seriously think she's intelligent:
"I think it's kind of an exciting time. I mean, everyone is cutting back. It's happening in every industry - including our own. All of a sudden, people are doing jobs that they hate and they're not making as much money as they thought they would or they've lost their jobs entirely."
"Oh my God! I'm not black, but I know what it feels like!"
"I don't want to ever be working for money because then you are no different to a prostitute."
"I don`t think there needs to be a movie out where a child has sex with an adult." (actually nothing dumb about this quote, except the fact that Natalie supports Roman Polanski...)
Kate is possibly the most overrated woman ever. Classless attention seeker, catty, unsophisticated personality (a skinny woman who hates skinny women- wow, classy!), cusses like a teenage boy, takes her clothes off to get roles. Wow. trashy.
I dont wanna go into details about every single one, and I truly dont wish to seem antogonistic, but being such a fan of this great, elegant site, it was very shocking and disappointing both to see such classless people hailed as classy role models when in reality they are actually bad role models. that wouldnt be so bad on it's own, but none of you seem to be praising them as classy for REAL reasons other than 1) style 2) beauty and 3) being famous. not ONE of these things makes you classy (though dressing modestly and well certainly makes a difference!).
in the future, please dont just name random celebrities as classy just because you wish they were. Audrey is, yes, but most celebrities... are not.
Myself, I would say Rebecca St James. Girl is modest, tries her best to do the right thing, and is down with God! Also, though I think she should be more modest (beauty pageants do have swimsuit competitions), Carrie Prejean OWNED elegance when she showed 100% respect in a highly awkward, socially dangeous situation and kept her cool all the while standing up for what was right, even though it wasnt what society wanted to hear... and is STILL being punished for it. I would also agree on Julie Andrews.
