Objective: To present the ideal woman from a man's point of view, the kind that awakens a man's feelings of love and tenderness.

Understands Men

Men are different: Men are different in nature, needs and temperament. Our failure to understand these differences causes serious misunderstanding between men and women. To build a good relationship with a man you must understand his characteristics and how they differ from a woman's.

Eight Relationships Guidelines: Our understanding of these differences and our respect for them, leads us to the following relationship rules with men:

1. Accept him at face value
2. Appreciate his better side
3. Admire his manliness
4. Make him number one
5. Let him be the guide, protector, and provider
6. Let him manage the money
7. Don't wound his sensitive masculine pride
8. Be sympathetic, understanding of his world

The following four lessons will be devoted to a study of the masculine nature, and the relationship rules which must be applied to have a loving relationship. This knowledge is little understood in our world. This is the reason we spend most of the Fascinating Womanhood class study this part of the subject. It is not that it is more important than the rest of the subject, but that it is the least understood.

Has Inner Happiness

How Men feel About Inner Happiness:

A man wants a woman who is happy within. It is a quality highly prized by men. If you are habitually unhappy, you can lose your husband's love for you. Inner happiness is one of the real charms men find fascinating in women. Only such a woman can inspire his respect and reverence.

We must build our own inner happiness. We cannot depend upon others or circumstances.

Has a Worthy Character

The pedestal: A man wants a woman with goodness of character, one he can respect as better than himself, an angelic person, worthy of a pedestal.

Men's reaction to angelic character: Because Agnes was angelic, David always associated her with a stained glass window in church. (This refers to a passage quoted from the book David Copperfield from Fascinating Womanhood).

Is Feminine

We have defined what is femininity and men's reaction to femininity in F.W.

How is Femininty acquired?

By Accentuating the differences between you and men, not the similiarities.

How is feminity lost?

By acquiring the manner and characteristics of men.

Men are repulsed by the masculine type of women. They are inclined to feel sad, sorry for them.

Radiant health is health in rich abundance. It is not just avoiding sickness.

How men feel about this quality. - Quote from F.W. Men place lot of importance on the sparkle in a woman's eyes, the freshness of her smile, and the spring in her step, all which come from genuine good health.

Fundamentals of Good Health

Is Childlike

Childlikeness refers to the mannerisms and characteristics of little children. They tend to be trustful, teachable, believing and forgiving. They are honest and outspoken.

How men feel about this quality: It amuses and fascinates them because it is such a contrast to their own masculine strength and firmness. It awakens their respect, tenderness and love.

What it adds to marriage: Childlikeness adds a new dimension to your relationship, a new ingredient to love. It makes marriage fun.

Summary

The Angela-Human Chart is the kind of woman a man wants, the kind that awakens his feelings of adoration and love.

We all can be this kind of woman. The charms of the ideal woman are the charms of angelic character, femininity, radiant health, childlikeness, etc. It has nothing to do with inherent good looks. Every woman can be a fascinating woman.

In all the Fascinating Womanhood Classes that I've attended, we are encouraged to seek God's help in applying the principles taught. We are assured that whenever we reach for higher goals or seek to become a better person, we'll need the help of God. It helped alot to have a devotional of some sort and belong to a church.

Remember, nobody starts from zero. We all have good qualities. Focus on your virtues and your better side. Don't be too hard on yourself! :)
